Beans On Toast!
Our London Mystery Football Weekend required a package name and you may be wondering why on earth it is called Beans On Toast! If you watch Sky Sports you may have seen “Beans On Toast” shouted by Paul Merson mid-commentary which is cockney rhyming slang for “Hit The Post”. What better term to use for our NEW Mystery Football Weekend in London!
Which match could I be attending?
Your London Mystery Football Weekend will take you to a Football Match in the Capital which could be one of 12 clubs. Brentford, Crystal Palace, Fulham and Westham from the Premier League are our Top Tier clubs where you may be destined for.

Your Mystery Football match could be a Championship match at The New Den, the home of Millwall or a classic ground such as Loftus Road where QPR would be your host.

There is also the possibility of arriving at AFC Wimbledon, Barnet, Charlton, Dagenham and Redbridge, Leyton Orient or newly promoted to the football league Sutton United who play in League Two.

Of course, only some of these clubs will be playing at home on the weekend scheduled so there will be teams you can eliminate from your enquiries if you wish to!
Whatever match you are heading to, this will be coupled with a fantastic trip to the Capital. We will put you up for one night in a Central London Hotel after the match so you can enjoy a beer and plan an evening of entertainment.
Accommodation
Your hotel will be a minimum 3 Star property with a private bathroom in Central London. Rooms are Double or Twin when booked in even numbers whilst larger groups may be in single, twin or triple rooms. If you travelling alone there is a small single occupancy fee so it is greater value to travel in a pair or a group.
What’s the Date?
The date of our inaugural London Mystery Football Weekend is Saturday 23rd October. This will be the date of the match and the night of your stay. The match date is set and is not likely to change however do read our terms and conditions before booking.
What’s Not Included?
We do not include your transport to the hotel or stadium so you will need to get to these destinations yourselves. We will of course provide the information such as the hotel address in advance so you can make appropriate plans.
When is the Mystery Match Revealed?
We will reveal the destination 14 days in advance of the trip and your hotel and match tickets will be provided at this point. If you wish to keep it secret from the rest of your group for longer then you can – but you may need to avoid our social media channels!
Who are Covert Football Trips?
